The 34th Week of 2010 in Review

August 27, 2010

This was a pretty busy week here at We Less Than Three. It’s Ashley’s birthday tomorrow, so we’ve been scrambling to get everything done before the weekend comes, and we’ve mostly succeeded. The Help Us Get To FOWD page is still going strong and we’re gradually bringing that goal closer to reality. And we launched our new inspiration site, Stuff We <3 last weekend. If you haven’t seen it yet you should go check it out, and if you’ve got any suggestions just email inspirations at welessthanthree dot com.

While New York City has been bumming everybody out by raining all week (though it looks like we’ll be hot and sunny for Ashley’s bday BBQ), we learned this week that Philadelphia has definitely taken the bum-out cake by announcing they will begin charging bloggers an annual fee. We tweeted at our Philly-based fellow designer Brian Hoff for comment, but we have it on good authority that he was too busy firing off an angry letter because he had to read about it in an article set in Georgia without any attempt at proper kerning or line-spacing.

In other news: We’re pretty sure Christian Markley missed our ‘Old School’ reference. Maybe he doesn’t spend as much time doing beer bongs and watching over-the-top comedies as we do … And we learned that Jessica Hische loves this iPad dock.

Plus, we’ve got lots of great new projects in the works, so stay tuned! If someone feels like tossing a Dribbble invite our way, maybe we’ll give you some sneak peaks … wink wink, nudge nudge

Some New (last minute) Business Cards

August 9, 2010

We were in a rush to get out the door for the Barrel + BARC 24-hour challenge (more on that later …) and realized we didn’t have any business cards. So, in a moment of inspiration, Andy cut apart an empty box of Total and managed to get it to feed through our new printer. Click for bigger images:
