ChicFiles is the brainchild of two comparative shopping whizzes. We Less Than Three designed their identity, as well as designed and developed their website.

This project will be an ongoing collaboration so expect to see updates on the growth of this fantastic project in the next couple of months!

We Less Than Three worked with the dynamic team from Nightlyfe.com to help design and build a website for their guide for the 2010 Winter Music Conference in Miami, FL.

The guide itself created a massive following by utilizing user blog postings, searching Twitter feeds for mentions of parties and live Twitter and video event coverage. It also allowed users easy access to the various clubs and events during the festival, offering them one-stop shopping for tickets and information.

From identity to web to print, We Less Than Three has worked with Rhodes Prep and Rhodes Publishing to launch a new and innovative LSAT Prep Course.

Our relationship with the budding company began with a small project to design a logo for both Rhodes Prep and Rhodes Publishing and soon blossomed into book cover designs for their unique and custom series of test prep books to be released later in the year, along with collateral pieces for both web and print.

Une Semaine de Google is a project by artist (and sometimes We <3 collaborator) Joseph Gillette to recreate Max Ernst’s pamphlet series ‘Une Semaine de Bonte.’  From the artist:

“With Une Semaine de Bonte, Max Ernst constructed a masterpiece of surrealism and storytelling that paved the way for decades of exploration in collage and photomontage … I am recreating each of the original compositions individually, using only the top image results from specific keyword searches on Google Images. It’s a language exercise first: translating a visual language into keywords, which go through the Google algorithm to produce a set of images … What results is a new piece, much like the old one, that ends up making an entirely new statement”

We are very excited to be involved, if only in a small way, with this incredible project.

Sarah Ferguson is a fantastic copywriter and a lot of fun to work with.  We wanted a site that would present her work in a way that was engaging, but also relevant.  There aren’t a lot of great copywriter portfolios out there to go on, so we really started from the ground up using her specific content and her personality, which (thankfully) is a little bit playful and modern while still being very professional, an aesthetic we totally agree with.  We’ve used a modified 960 grid throughout the site and a lot of custom jQuery scripting.  Go check it out.

Larry Kagan’s sculpture sheds light on shadows.  Our goal was to give him a site that showcases his extraordinary work without detracting from it.  We also wanted to give him a tool he could use in the future, so we developed the site on the WordPress platform.  The user-friendly CMS means that simple changes to the site can be handled by the artist directly.  Live site pending client review.  Check back soon.

We started working with Nolan a couple months ago, and we’ve been helping them with strategies for SEO and web marketing.  We built a simple and sleek lookbook for their Spring 2010 collection that went live today.  There’s also an online store in the works, so check back soon for updates on that.  Click here to see the lookbook and the new site.

We launched version 3 of the Prrtyfood site today.  This time around we went for a very stripped down, pixelated look.  In case you missed v’s 1 and 2 Prrtyfood is the brainchild of Joseph Gillette.  It is the catalyst for his story-telling through performance, drawings, sculptures, videos, costumes and oddball collaborations.  Check out the new site here.
